The Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability

As a registered medical charity, the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) provides specialist rehabilitation and 24-hour long term care for adults with severe brain injury or illness who are too disabled to live at home. The RHN was first established in 1854 in order to provide care for people who were living with chronic or incurable disease. Since that time they have come to specialise in neurological disability and are both a centre for care and research into rehabilitation and care of brain injury and illness. We fundraise for additional therapies and equipment, including music therapy, therapeutic art and aquability, bespoke wheelchairs, physiotherapy equipment and assistive technology. Of the money donated, whatever is needed will be spent on PPE, and the rest on the projects above.

5% of funds from the first auction will go to RHN, 70% to NHS Hero Support, and 25% to Scrub and Face Protection Hub.

I would also life to draw attention to the work of Asif Qasim and Let's Beat COVID-19. The not-for-profit  http://letsbeatcovid.net/ web app was developed by a team of volunteers led by MedShr, to provide the public with personalised advice on COVID-19 and supply anonymous data to the NHS and WHO to support healthcare planning. The LetsBeatCOVID team and MedShr are working with NHS Hero Support to supply PPE to NHS and care staff.
